Autisha Canyon Full Day
In order to access the canyon, you have to start from the nearest hamlet, which is located in the lower part of the Santa Eulalia River. From the village to the entrance of the canyon there is only a distance of fifteen minutes, and this first route is the easiest compared to the one that follows to access the lagoon.
We will begin the route very early in the morning, where our guides will start giving us the necessary indications to descend to the waterfall, they will instruct us in the use of helmets, life lines, harnesses and how we should use the equipment in general, then we will start with our first controlled rappel, where the guides will help us and then we will go ahead to the platform where we can take good pictures of the canyon, then descend 6 floors below the ground by stairs and cross a suspension bridge all this in the dark only with our flashlights.

Es una total aventura, comienzas descendiendo para hacer una caminata por pasillos antes usados por la gente que solía trabajar ahí, llegando a una caída de agua muy tranquilizante y acabas con el rapel.
En el cañón de Autisha puedes hacer distintos deportes de aventura como rappel , canopi, traking, etc. Tiene una linda vista a la laguna y hay distintas agencias que te llevan desde Lima a buen precio.
A pesar de ser un poco intimidante por las alturas que hay que desafiar, es un excelente full day para jovenes y adultos. Niños desde 12 años pueden ir sin ningun problema, y si tienen miedo, ese dia lo pierden de todas maneras! Van con cuerdas y arneses bien seguros.
Por el camino que nos llevaron en el tour es por una carretera rural por un cerro donde se puede ver todo el valle. La vista es agradable -a mi que me gusta la adrenalina- pero definitivamente no es lo más seguro. Según me explicaron también existe otra ruta.
Hicimos el circuito de caminata hasta una antigua hidroeléctrica que esta abandonada. Caminata al borde del abismo, subidas y descensos por antiguas construcciones para llegar a una catarata. Otros grupos van a la zona hacer rapel y puenting. Decididamente para quienes quieran salir de la rutina.
Especial para los aventureros el Cañón de Autisha tiene diferentes actividades extremas Trekking, Rappel y puenting este último una de las más grandes experiencias que he tenido! Lo recomiendo te sientes luego de hacerlo, invensible. A mano de puenting Perú, personas muy amables que te dan toda la confianza y seguridad que la actividad lo amerita
