DAY 1

CASTLE OF CHANCAY – HUARAL – CHANCHO AL PALO – AUCALLAMA – WINES

8:00 Hrs. Arrival to the small town called La Huaca – Huaral, in which there is a chapel dating from the eighteenth century, we will enter its subway catacomb which popularly the population began to call tunnel, will have time to take pictures and observe from this place the great valley Chancay.
Continuing with our tour, we will visit the Huando hacienda, which belonged to the great Graña family, in this hacienda highlights its colonial architecture, here is where the famous “Huando Orange” became known, you can learn the history of this place and why this citrus became so well known.
We will also visit the Perla de Huaral vineyard, learn about its orchard and have a small tasting of the wines produced in this valley of Huaral.
12:00 Hrs. Lunch in the countryside of Huaral, we will go to the restaurant Ramadita Warmi Jaime and Nelli, this participated in the gastronomic fair Mistura, here we will delight of the Huaralina gastronomy, as the pig to the stick, carapulcra, Chinese box, among other delicious dishes of the place.
After lunch, we will go to the Chancay Castle, which belonged to the great-granddaughter of Viceroy Manuel Amat de Juniet. We will visit its various facilities among which are the museum of antiquities of the Castle, the museums of stuffed animals and the Chancay culture, hall of mirrors, the Covadonga, among other attractions.
