Intinerary
- Very early in the morning (04:30 a.m.) we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to make the trip to the village of Chirihuani in the Cusipata District (Quispicanchis) where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious semi-buffet breakfast,
- After a brief talk, we will board the minibus to continue the journey for 45 minutes to Phullapatawasi, the starting point of our hike at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, to the highest point of the Cerro Colorado,
- During this trip we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids;
- Arriving at Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of this enigmatic place.
- Afterwards, we will continue with our hike downhill and flat parts to the starting point of the hike (Phullapatawasi),
- Then we will board the minibus that will take us to Cusipata where we will have a delicious semi-buffet lunch,
- Finally we will return to Cusco. At around 17:00 hours, this is the end of the hike to the 7-color mountain.
- OPTIONAL: You have the option of renting a horse if you do not want to walk or feel tired, round trip 80 soles.

A muchos extranjeros les afectó la altura, recomiendo tomar alguna pastilla antes de partir hacia la montaña, sobre todo para los que no están acostumbrados a caminar sobre los más de 4500 msnm.
El lugar es espectacular, es muy recomendable si están por Cusco.

No pensé experimentar todo lo que mi cuerpo paso hasta llegar al tope y ver esa increíble vista de las montañas
Un sitio de los mas bonitos que he visitado, y el subir por mi propio pie a los 5100 m, sin ayuda de ningún caballo, mayor satisfacción.
Waoo tremenda experiencia.
El camino te toma alrededor de 2 horas a 2 y media es algo agotador pero al llegar ala cima hasta las lagrimas se te salen de lo bello y hermosos paisajes que observas es algo maravilloso les recomiendo a todos a realizar esta aventura no se arrepentiran.
La caminata es realmente dura, no solo por lo larga que es, sino que sumado con la altitud es muy pesado, durante toda la subida te ofrecen subir en caballo por si ya no puedes mas.
Una vez arriba las vistas son increíbles, los colores preciosos e impresionantes, parece que alguien lo ha pintado. Para mi visita obligatoria.
