Intinerary

  • Very early in the morning (04:30 a.m.) we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to make the trip to the village of Chirihuani in the Cusipata District (Quispicanchis) where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious semi-buffet breakfast,
  • After a brief talk, we will board the minibus to continue the journey for 45 minutes to Phullapatawasi, the starting point of our hike at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, to the highest point of the Cerro Colorado,
  • During this trip we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids;
  • Arriving at Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of this enigmatic place.
  • Afterwards, we will continue with our hike downhill and flat parts to the starting point of the hike (Phullapatawasi),
  • Then we will board the minibus that will take us to Cusipata where we will have a delicious semi-buffet lunch,
  • Finally we will return to Cusco. At around 17:00 hours, this is the end of the hike to the 7-color mountain.
  • OPTIONAL: You have the option of renting a horse if you do not want to walk or feel tired, round trip 80 soles.

Definitivamente es un lugar al que vale la pena ir antes de morir. Uno tiene que levantarse de madrugada para llegar, pero el camino lo vale. Es maravilloso!!!!

El Apu Winicunca es fantástico, no solo por la belleza de sus colores sino porque al frente tiene las cordilleras nevadas. El clima puede cambiar de un momento a otro en esos 5100 metros asi que a llevar abrigo y no desanimarse con la altura que el final vale la pena.

Puedes ver que hay partes de colores en montañas más abajo.
En el trayecto conoces gente de todo el mundo. Es una experiencia muy bonita

Increible y dura caminata, debido a la altitud, ya que partes de 4100m y llegas 5200m. Sin duda merece la pena totalmente, los paisajes son increibles!! Hay que vivirlo!!!
