Intinerary
- Very early in the morning (04:30 a.m.) we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to make the trip to the village of Chirihuani in the Cusipata District (Quispicanchis) where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious semi-buffet breakfast,
- After a brief talk, we will board the minibus to continue the journey for 45 minutes to Phullapatawasi, the starting point of our hike at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, to the highest point of the Cerro Colorado,
- During this trip we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids;
- Arriving at Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of this enigmatic place.
- Afterwards, we will continue with our hike downhill and flat parts to the starting point of the hike (Phullapatawasi),
- Then we will board the minibus that will take us to Cusipata where we will have a delicious semi-buffet lunch,
- Finally we will return to Cusco. At around 17:00 hours, this is the end of the hike to the 7-color mountain.
- OPTIONAL: You have the option of renting a horse if you do not want to walk or feel tired, round trip 80 soles.

Hicimos la excursión y fue increíble!! El guía Rosendo fue muy profesional. Las vistas increíblemente hermosas y la comida muy rica. Fue una experiencia inolvidable y super recomiendo esta compañía
Definitivamente una excelente experiencia, pero si en caso de volver a hacerlo, no me mataría tratando de subir todo a pie, contrataría un caballo desde el inicio porque los caballos no llegan hasta el final del recorrido… la parte más pesada hay que hacerla a pie. Eso sí, en caso de usar el caballo hay que sujetarse fuerte con cuidado de no deslizarse, ya ha habido personas que se han caído de los caballos. El regreso hay que hacerlo despacio porque descender muy rápido da dolor de cabeza. Tomamos bonitas fotos y fue realmente una aventura que me gustó mucho vivir!
Más de 5000mts de altura. No hacer esta excursión antes de haberte aclimatado a la altura. Recomendado 3 días en Cusco el tour fue magnífico le incluye transporte, desayuno, almuerzo y guía.
Llevar agua y coca para mascar, si funciona.
Es un gran reto llegar a la cima para poder ver esta maravilla de la naturaleza, pero vale todo el esfuerzo y además al llegar a este lugar todo lo demás se olvida. Es espectacular todo lo que te va a rodear aquí. No te lo pierdas por nada!!
Recomiendo encarecidamente este viaje con los chicos. Era una maravilla, muy informativo y me sentí muy bien cuidado.
