Intinerary
- Very early in the morning (04:30 a.m.) we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to make the trip to the village of Chirihuani in the Cusipata District (Quispicanchis) where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious semi-buffet breakfast,
- After a brief talk, we will board the minibus to continue the journey for 45 minutes to Phullapatawasi, the starting point of our hike at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, to the highest point of the Cerro Colorado,
- During this trip we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids;
- Arriving at Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of this enigmatic place.
- Afterwards, we will continue with our hike downhill and flat parts to the starting point of the hike (Phullapatawasi),
- Then we will board the minibus that will take us to Cusipata where we will have a delicious semi-buffet lunch,
- Finally we will return to Cusco. At around 17:00 hours, this is the end of the hike to the 7-color mountain.
- OPTIONAL: You have the option of renting a horse if you do not want to walk or feel tired, round trip 80 soles.

Impresionante la montaña de los 7 Colores, no te la puedes perder, es un dia completo, desde Cusco 2,5h de viaje, pero entras en otra epoca, los lugareños con sus sandalias tirando de los caballos arriba y abajo, acercandote a la montaña, luego intentar subir hasta los 5.000 mts. para verla en todo su explendor, casi sin poder respirar, es expectacular, si tienes fuerzas no te pierdas el Valle Rojo que esta al lado.
Trekking muy cansador debido a los 5000 msnm. No me parece difícil desde el punto de vista técnico, pero la altura hace que al más mínimo esfuerzo te falte el oxígeno. Pero valió la pena, me pareció un lugar maravilloso.
Si bien tuvimos algunas dudas para contratar esta excursión por la altura, el clima y los comentarios de los demás, no optamos por hacerla y no nos arrepentimos. Fueron casi 2 horas de caminata con mucho viento y frio pero valió la pena. El día estaba despejado cuando llegamos a la cima y pudimos apreciar bien los colores de la montaña. No hace falta que se preparen fisicamente para subirla, cualquiera puede hacerlo! Animense!

El lugar es increíble fantástico , es difícil creer q exista algo así . Eso sí recomiendo ir muy abrigados ya que el frío ahí es espanroso. Cusco tiene mucho por conocer y cada día q pasaba me enamoraba más de esa hermosa ciudad
Es un esfuerzo importante caminar hasta 5200 mt altura (asegurate de ir bien aclimatados) y hay demasiados turistas, pero a pesar de ello vale mucho la pena. Es un paisaje de montaña espectacular, no solo por la montaña de colores, también por el Valle Rojo
