Intinerary
- Very early in the morning (04:30 a.m.) we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to make the trip to the village of Chirihuani in the Cusipata District (Quispicanchis) where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious semi-buffet breakfast,
- After a brief talk, we will board the minibus to continue the journey for 45 minutes to Phullapatawasi, the starting point of our hike at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, to the highest point of the Cerro Colorado,
- During this trip we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids;
- Arriving at Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of this enigmatic place.
- Afterwards, we will continue with our hike downhill and flat parts to the starting point of the hike (Phullapatawasi),
- Then we will board the minibus that will take us to Cusipata where we will have a delicious semi-buffet lunch,
- Finally we will return to Cusco. At around 17:00 hours, this is the end of the hike to the 7-color mountain.
- OPTIONAL: You have the option of renting a horse if you do not want to walk or feel tired, round trip 80 soles.

sabia que seria algo especial, pero no esperaba que luego de tan ameno trayecto, tomando fotos en el camino y luego de una caminata cuesta arriba, el lugar seria algo espeial, era ver con mis ojos una obra de arte de la naturaleza un hermoso capricho de Dios, y ese maravilloso día con el sol resplandeciente y con las blanquisimas nubes y ese azul cerulio del cielo en verdad fue verlo y quedarme en absoluto silencio…
Fue alucinante!, estas preciosas montañas de colores me encantaron, costó bastante alcanzarlas , 5.000 y pico metros de altura, mereció la pena, las carreteras de acceso tienen q mejorar.
Una larga caminata que vale la pena, lo recomiento para todos pues el tour incluye todo a un solo precio, transporte, guia, alimentacion. Lo recomiendo
La montaña y el recorrido para llegar es impresionante por su belleza natural, pero falta regulación y auto gestión por parte de los operadores turísticos, ya que en ningún momento preguntan sobre el estado de salud, en específico por problemas cardiacos, ya que caminar una hora y media a 5 mil metros sobre el nivel del mar, es agobiante.
El tour a la montaña sin duda es mágico y extremo, y cuando se va en familia, la hazaña genera ese tipo de recuerdos imborrables, es una visita recomendada para familias en buen estado físico.
Es expectacular , fuimos en Mayo, montañas nevadas, expectacular, el camino no es muy largo pero es duro
