Intinerary
- Very early in the morning (04:30 a.m.) we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to make the trip to the village of Chirihuani in the Cusipata District (Quispicanchis) where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious semi-buffet breakfast,
- After a brief talk, we will board the minibus to continue the journey for 45 minutes to Phullapatawasi, the starting point of our hike at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, to the highest point of the Cerro Colorado,
- During this trip we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids;
- Arriving at Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of this enigmatic place.
- Afterwards, we will continue with our hike downhill and flat parts to the starting point of the hike (Phullapatawasi),
- Then we will board the minibus that will take us to Cusipata where we will have a delicious semi-buffet lunch,
- Finally we will return to Cusco. At around 17:00 hours, this is the end of the hike to the 7-color mountain.
- OPTIONAL: You have the option of renting a horse if you do not want to walk or feel tired, round trip 80 soles.

Esta montaña es única en el mundo, y se puede visitar en un día, con una caminata maravillosa y llena de hermosos paisajes, siempre se incluye desayuno Buffet ya que se sale de madrugada, pero vale la pena, el tour también incluye almuerzo buffet, es una experiencia que no olvidaran jamas, aparte que incluye un pequeño trek que lo hace muy emocionante, no se lo pierdan si están en Cusco.
Los caballos no llegan hasta la cima misma, por lo que para llegar a ella si o sí hay que caminar. Hacer este trekking es todo un desafío pero que vale la pena realizarlo.
Vista espectacular y la montaña es hermosa. Una de las mejores excursiones que hicimos en Cuzco.
A unas horas de cuzco. Si no tienes problemas con la altitud o con tu condicion fisica, es recomendable. Es una caminata de 5km aproximadamente a una gran altura, y con bajas temperaturas, por lo que debes ir preparado para ambas. Ya en la montaña es una vista maravillosa.
Era un lugar que deseaba visitar hace rato, es realmente muy bella! Hay múltiples tours que realizan la visita en el dia. Mi recomendación más importante es que quienes deseen hacer esta excursión hayan aclimatado por algunos días en Cuzco y alrededores, ya que se llega sobre los 5000 msnm.
