What is white-water rafting?
White-water rafting is a recreational and sporting activity that involves descending rivers in an inflatable raft. Participants, equipped with life jackets and helmets, paddle in unison to maneuver the raft through rapids and currents. It’s an activity that requires teamwork, coordination, and, above all, a passion for adventure.
Canoeing or rafting is a sporting and recreational activity that consists of traveling along the riverbed in the direction of the current (downstream).
- The boat or raft is steered by a guide who stands at the back and the other team members stand at the sides to help the guide steer the raft.
- Currently in Lunahuaná, canoeing is one of the most popular adventure sports and does not require a high degree of training to practice.
- We have a highly trained staff and the ideal equipment for children, youth and adults to feel for the first time the thrill of this adventure sport on the Cañete River.

- Class I – II: Ideal for beginners and families. It offers a calm route with small waves and easy-to-navigate rapids.
- Class III – IV: Recommended for those with previous rafting experience. These rapids are more intense, with larger waves and technical maneuvers.

Tour Reviews
