Fui un dia de semana y literalmente no habia nadie, un lugar muy tranquilo donde hubo gente viviendo hace 5mil años, realmente quede asombrada por la historia nuestra..
Caral es la ciudad más antigua del Perú (más de 5000 años desde el presente) y sede de la primera civilización andina que forjó las bases de una organización social propia y singular, que junto a Mesopotamia, Egipto, india, China y Mesoamérica son los focos originarios de cultura en el mundo.Ser constructores de colosales edificios con forma de pirámide distingue a la gente de Caral de los demás pueblos de su tiempo en los andes.
Las pirámides de Caral son las más antiguas encontradas hasta la fecha en los Andes: datan de hace 5000 años (3000 a.C. aproximadamente). Construir estructuras de este tipo necesitó de un alto grado de tecnología y organización social para afrontar los problemas de su construcción y el elevado gasto de materiales y energía.
El lugar es impresionante y esta bien conservado, hay que ir por una trocha que esta en regular estado. Igual el viaje es bonito por el medio de las chacras y mas restos arqueologicos.
Algunas estructuras han sido restauradas, mientras que otras mejor conservadas sólo se han limpiado y estabilizado, mostrando su resistencia al paso de los siglos. El calor es intenso y nos refrescamos antes de subir a un mirador elevado para tomar algunas vistas panorámicas.
