La ciudadela de Caral, con mas de 5,000 años de antigüedad, Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad, considerada la ciudad sagrada,donde se puede apreciar Historia, geografía, increibles construcciones de piramides, se encuentran innumerables fogones, donde se quemaban alimentos y otros para ofrecer a sus dioses.

Es un encuentro con la historia, ubicado en el hermoso Valle de Supe. Actualmente cuidada por el INC. Importante escuchar al Guia de turismo para poder recrear y valorar mejor la visita. Es increible como puede haberse conservado hasta estas epocas esta ciudadela.

Fuimos con mi esposa a conocer Caral un fin de semana y esperaba sólo una pequeña huaca y algo mas, pero el complejo es impresionante, mas considerando que los edificios mas antiguos son de 3000 a.c. El trabajo que está realizando la dra. Shady y su equipo de la Universidad San Marcos se lleva las palmas por poner en valor una maravilla, por su antiguedad y complejidad.

El paisaje de la zona es bonito y relajante, y la sucesión de chacras de frutas (principalmente maracuya) le dá una sensación de relax al recorrido
Volveré a visitarlo en unos años para ver como van los avances, pues los arqueólogos aún tienen mucho trabajo mas por hacer y descubrir en la zona.
