What will I enjoy?

Your tour begins with an early morning pick-up at your hotel in Cusco. Traveling in the comfort of a private vehicle, transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo to board the train or the Vistadome scenic train (if upgrade is selected) to Machu Picchu. Marvel at the scenery of the journey as you travel through the Andes and contemplate the wild landscapes of the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, the town at the foot of Machu Picchu, your private guide will be waiting for you. Together, take the last bus to the top of Machu Picchu mountain, climbing to a dizzying height of 7,970 feet (2,430 meters). Take a moment to savor your first view of Machu Picchu, as your guide provides background information on the legendary Lost City of the Incas. Then, enjoy plenty of time to explore, and enjoy highlights such as the Sun Temple, the Sacred Square and the ceremonial baths. Your private tour can be customized to suit your preferences, so you can choose to climb to the best viewpoints or spend more time exploring the less visited ruins. After your visit, return to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch (included), before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo. Finally, end your tour with a private transfer back to your hotel in Cusco.
