Itinerary
Discover in the tour Paracas Ballestas Islands the incredible and diverse flora and fauna, know the wonders that the tour offers to the natural reserve of Paracas.
7:40 – 8:00 AM. We pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the new tourist pier in Paracas. You will board the boat to begin the two-hour excursion to the Ballestas Islands. These beautiful islands are home to thousands of migratory birds, who share their habitat with colonies of restless sea lions, and we will also observe a diversity of marine fauna, such as Humboldt penguins. We return to the pier, you have free time to stroll around the bay, take pictures, buy handicrafts or have breakfast.
10:30 AM from the pier after the tour to the Ballestas Islands we will take the tour to the Paracas National Reserve which is the largest natural sanctuary on the Peruvian coast. As a first point we will visit the RNP interpretation center. Then we will go to the natural rock formation known as THE CATHEDRAL, due to its whimsical shape and the spectacular panoramic view. We continue with a panoramic visit to Roja and Yumaque beaches. We will take a short hike to the Flamingo Viewpoint and the Fusilera Zone where we will observe migratory birds, marine fossils, shrapnel and more. Finally, we will go to Lagunillas Beach where you have the option of lunch and swimming (optional). Finally, we will return to the hotel at 2:00 PM approx.
