Intinerary
- Very early in the morning (04:30 a.m.) we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to make the trip to the village of Chirihuani in the Cusipata District (Quispicanchis) where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious semi-buffet breakfast,
- After a brief talk, we will board the minibus to continue the journey for 45 minutes to Phullapatawasi, the starting point of our hike at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, to the highest point of the Cerro Colorado,
- During this trip we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids;
- Arriving at Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of this enigmatic place.
- Afterwards, we will continue with our hike downhill and flat parts to the starting point of the hike (Phullapatawasi),
- Then we will board the minibus that will take us to Cusipata where we will have a delicious semi-buffet lunch,
- Finally we will return to Cusco. At around 17:00 hours, this is the end of the hike to the 7-color mountain.
- OPTIONAL: You have the option of renting a horse if you do not want to walk or feel tired, round trip 80 soles.
Tour Reviews
El último tramo de la montaña hay una subida (la más dura) pero vale la pena!! Las vistas son increíbles, en la cima el frío y el viento es mayor pero la energía que se siente es lo máximo.
Lo mejor es comenzar la subida temprano (6 -7 am) para que puedas tomar mejores fotografías, despúes sube muchísima gente.
Todo el viaje es expectacular, desde los caminos de carretera por sus paisajes increibles hasta el recorrido de caminata de 2.5hrs aprox. Sin embargo el clima es sumamente variado y ve con la idea de que probablemente no encuentres la montaña como aparece en internet, al menos no en febrero, el clima esta muy cerca a que lo encuentres nevado o sumamente nublado.
Tour muy maravilloso, muy pesado ya que son 5100 metros sobre el nivel del mar, recomiendo si no se tiene buena preparación subir con un caballo
Mi experiencia fue muy buena y lo disfrute muchísimo,pero me sentí muy mal,pero muy mal una vez ya había bajado,y me costo horas poder reponerme.Aun así lo volvería hacer, es hermoso!
