Intinerary
- Very early in the morning (04:30 a.m.) we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to make the trip to the village of Chirihuani in the Cusipata District (Quispicanchis) where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious semi-buffet breakfast,
- After a brief talk, we will board the minibus to continue the journey for 45 minutes to Phullapatawasi, the starting point of our hike at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, to the highest point of the Cerro Colorado,
- During this trip we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids;
- Arriving at Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of this enigmatic place.
- Afterwards, we will continue with our hike downhill and flat parts to the starting point of the hike (Phullapatawasi),
- Then we will board the minibus that will take us to Cusipata where we will have a delicious semi-buffet lunch,
- Finally we will return to Cusco. At around 17:00 hours, this is the end of the hike to the 7-color mountain.
- OPTIONAL: You have the option of renting a horse if you do not want to walk or feel tired, round trip 80 soles.

Tengo que volver a este lugar ya que cuando fui había mucha neblina y lluvia por lo que no pude sacar demasiadas fotos; sin embargo es un lugar hermoso para sacar unas buenas fotografías aunque tienes que esforzarte en subir ya que es bien pesado.
Si piensan visitar este lugar que sea entre Mayo y Julio.
Los colores suelen representar la felicidad, pero ver colores cerca al cielo es asombroso e indescriptible. En Cusco, Perú, se puede vivir esta experiencia a más de 5000 msnm.
Hay que tener una preparación en caminata y si es en altura y terreno irregular, mejor.No se requiere ser un gran deportista. Logré mi objetivo: El guía me acompañó en todo momento y llegué a la cima, 5036 msnm! Recomiendo visitarlo porque vale la pena!
Es una visita/excursión que requiere un día entero desde Cuzco, primero hay un trayecto en coche, después el resto puedes hacerlo caminando o partir el trayecto un trozo a caballo y el último solo se hace andando. Requiere esfuerzo físico, llegas a 5040 metros de altura (Cuidado con el mal de altura) , pero la vista de la montaña de 7 colores es espectacular.
La subida es un poco dura debido a la altura pero vale la pena. Sobretodo si el día está soleado para poder apreciar bien los colores. Es una excursión de todo el día.
