Há que andar bastante, pois o recorrido somente pode ser feito a pe.
Vale muito a pena conhecer e na volta almoçar em Huacho.
É a cidade mais antiga das Américas, comparável às civilizações da Mesopotânia. Algumas ruínas estão em muito bom estado, não como Machu Picchu, mas bem mais interessante que aquelas mais perto de Lima.
Uma das civilizações mais antigas do mundo floresceu em Caral. Fui visitar as ruínas num grupo organizado pelo governo peruano.
Quando estive em Caral, me informaram que aquela era a cidade mais antiga do Peru, anterior a Machu Pichu. Na cidade você visitar uma serie de piramides, anfiteatros e outras estruturas incas.
Prepare-se para caminhar ao sol e descobrir a cidade mais antiga da América. Apesar de ser um destino pouco conhecido, vale muito a pena. É impressionante.
