Lo primero que se aprecia al ingresar es la denominada La pirámide Mayor, imponente ruina arqueológica hecha de adobe, frente a una plaza circular de 19 metros de diámetro y 2 metros de profundidad. Adicionalmente se ingresa al denominado Anfiteatro, por los restos de flautas, cornetas y similares hechos a base de hueso de auquenidos allí encontrados. Hay varias otras pirámides de las cuales ya se ha puesto en valor, las llamadas Huanca y Galería, MUY RECOMENDADO VISITAR EL LUGAR.
Es muy interesante , consta de varias pirámides cada uno alineada en un punto cardinal. Además los guías son muy amables y te explican bien. Está como a 3 horas y media de Lima si se va por el camino del desierto y no cruzando en el río que en esta época del año está crecido.
Zona arqueológica ubicada a 4horas de Lima, en el Valle del rio Supe. Es un complejo importantisimo de nuestra cultura, tiene mas de 5,000 años de antiguedad, y es considerada la civilización más antigua de América.
Sin duda lo más atractivo para mí en Perú (después de su insuperable gastronomía) son los restos arqueológicos de la civilización americana más antigua, con explicaciones muy interesantes.
Fuimos con total desconocimiento de lo que podríamos encontrar y nos llevamos una agradable sorpresa de ver un lugar increíble con una historia que nadie debería de perderse.
