Recomiendo visitar los restos de esta antigua civilización pre-incaica ubicada en un valle con escarpadas montañas adornadas con arena movida por el viento. Interesante observar cómo esta arena ha ido erosionando y puliendo las piedras de las construcciones de Caral.
Caral está entre las notas altas de mis viajes. La decisión de no reconstruir nada le quita algo a la escena pero gana en fidelidad. Pocas veces podremos visitar una ciudad que se ubica como la segunda mas antigua del mundo, con 5000 años. 3.000 despues de la era comun. El lugar esta bien mantenido y las explicaciones de la guia Rosendo son elocuentes.
El complejo considera alrededor de 25 edificios monumentales de los que se pueden ver 6. Sin embargo, con eso es suficiente y toma mas de una hora. Ello sumado a las 3 horas o 3 y media horas para llegar desde Lima resulta algo agotador. Una experiencia que vivir… antes de morir.
Genial lugar cerca a Lima.
Indispensable para conocer la historia no solo del Perú sino la latinoamericana.
Conocer los restos de una civilización tan antigua fue muy emocionante.
También ver en tiempo real el trabajo de arqueólogos actual en las excavaciones y todo lo que aún falta de conocer sobre esta civilización es muy motivador .
