Intinerary

9:00 am: We start. After hotel pickup, we head to an archaeological site located in the heart of Miraflores.

9:30 am: We arrive. Huaca Pucllana is an imposing complex consisting of a truncated pyramid and low structures surrounding it. The huaca is made up of plazas, courtyards, and interconnected enclosure systems from different construction stages. You shouldn’t miss Huaca Pucllana during your visit to Lima. We continue our journey to one of Lima’s most important museums.

12:00 pm: We arrive at the Larco Museum, considered one of the best museums in Latin America. Its new galleries showcase the finest and most complete collection of gold and silver from Peru, as well as a famous erotic ceramic collection.

3:00 pm: We continue to downtown Lima, where we’ll start a walking tour of the historic center to see Plaza San Martín and the Plaza Mayor, home to the Government Palace, the Cathedral, and City Hall. You can also visit the San Francisco Church and Catacombs (at your own expense).

5:00 pm: Ending the tour, we visit the famous Love Park for a walk with a beautiful view of the boardwalk. Return to the hotel.

7:00 pm: Then back to your hotel.

Normalmente escuchamos que la huaca pucllana es un lugar arqueologico rodeado de modernidad, sin embargo al pasear alrededor de la huaca se aprecia una perfecto y extraña sensacion de un peru muy antiguo con un peru moderno lo cual es perfecto ya que se puede apreciar la construccion antigua y la construccion moderna en la cual podemos ver cual es el origen de las construcciones actulales y te hara sentir orgullos de poder tener esta huaca, en tan buen estado,

A los amantes de la cultura peruana es un buen lugar para visitar!, es cerca en la misma ciudad y con mucha historia , el recorrido es agradable y explican muy bien.

No es posible estar en Miraflores y no ir a visitarla. Ofrece un contraste entre la costumbre de sacrificios humanos de los Lima con los Moche y Chimú. Tambien nos da a pensar en el cuidado que le damos y le hemos dado a las ruinas, ya que ésta ha sido usada para carreras de cross.

Si estás en Miraflores y/o en San Isidro, ir a esta Huaca es un paseo obligado, hay un recorrido armado y se realiza con un instructor/guía que te va contando paso a paso la historia de esa ruina.

La Huaca Pucllana es un lugar mágico para visitar en Lima, los restos arqueológicos que son de adobe nos dejan ver parte de la cultura en los años 500 DC.,tienen una pequeña sala de exposición de huacos hallados en el lugar
