First, you will be picked up at your hotel in the historic center of Cusco or in the Sacred Valley and you will head to the flight point, where the entire team will be waiting for you to give you flight instructions and safety recommendations. After a brief safety briefing, your instructor will give you a harness and a case and explain the take-off procedure.
Paragliding in Cusco
The paraglider departs from Sacro Hill, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and the flight lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Located in the northeast of the city of Cusco and with a height of 3,880 meters, this mountain has special characteristics, such as a slope of 70 degrees or more and a vertical drop of 600 meters.
Cerro Sacro is one of the safest mountains in terms of topography. Before take-off and during the flight, you can marvel at the majestic scenery of this valley. When you get your feet back on the ground, you will return to the center of Cusco or to the Sacred Valley to finish the tour.
