Intinerary
- Very early in the morning (04:30 a.m.) we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to make the trip to the village of Chirihuani in the Cusipata District (Quispicanchis) where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious semi-buffet breakfast,
- After a brief talk, we will board the minibus to continue the journey for 45 minutes to Phullapatawasi, the starting point of our hike at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, to the highest point of the Cerro Colorado,
- During this trip we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids;
- Arriving at Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of this enigmatic place.
- Afterwards, we will continue with our hike downhill and flat parts to the starting point of the hike (Phullapatawasi),
- Then we will board the minibus that will take us to Cusipata where we will have a delicious semi-buffet lunch,
- Finally we will return to Cusco. At around 17:00 hours, this is the end of the hike to the 7-color mountain.
- OPTIONAL: You have the option of renting a horse if you do not want to walk or feel tired, round trip 80 soles.

es impactante estar ahi en la cima, los colores, las vistas, la sensación de logro conseguido… el camino es precioso pero muy dificil. a medida que avanzas se dificulta muchísimo la respiración y el corazón se acelera. Creí que no lo conseguiría pero cuando me vi de pie disfrutando el paisaje en la cima, lloré de emocion. Si no tienes buen estado físico, hay caballos desde la base y a lo largo de todo el camino.
100% recomendable.
Es un lugar con paisajes maravillosos. Nosotros debimos superar nuestras propias limitaciones para lograr llegar a la cima, dado que el frío de la madrugada y la altura hacen que sea una experiencia extrema. Afortunadamente para quienes no pueden seguir caminando la comunidad dispone de caballos que pueden llevarte hasta la cima y traerte de regreso por unos cuantos soles. Lugar recomendado especialmente para quienes gusten del trekking.
Gran aventura de un día, que pese a que te exige en aspecto físico, ya que son 5 km de treking. Vale cada pisada, por la hermosa arquitectura del lugar..
El paisaje durante el camino es lindo, y en la cima es impresionante, porque tenés la montaña de colores de un lado y el Ausangate nevado del otro. Precioso.
La caminata para llegar hasta la cumbre de la montaña es dura pero vale la pena, la vista es de ensueño!
