Intinerary
- Very early in the morning (04:30 a.m.) we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to make the trip to the village of Chirihuani in the Cusipata District (Quispicanchis) where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious semi-buffet breakfast,
- After a brief talk, we will board the minibus to continue the journey for 45 minutes to Phullapatawasi, the starting point of our hike at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, to the highest point of the Cerro Colorado,
- During this trip we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids;
- Arriving at Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of this enigmatic place.
- Afterwards, we will continue with our hike downhill and flat parts to the starting point of the hike (Phullapatawasi),
- Then we will board the minibus that will take us to Cusipata where we will have a delicious semi-buffet lunch,
- Finally we will return to Cusco. At around 17:00 hours, this is the end of the hike to the 7-color mountain.
- OPTIONAL: You have the option of renting a horse if you do not want to walk or feel tired, round trip 80 soles.

Hicimos la excursión con Rosendo y a pesar de que tuvimos problemas con el mal de altura, el trato de Rosendo fue genial. Un 10 para la comida, guia, conductor, trato y experiencia.

Excelente excursión, paisaje increible y muy bien organizado! Rosendo es un guía muy atento, y en todo momento nos explicó y recomendó como afrontar la ruta! El buffet tanto en el desayuno, como en el almuerzo, fue conpleto y variado. Experiencia 100% recomendable.

Una excursión más que recomendable.
Pasan a recogerte al hotel muy temprano sobre las 4-5am y te incluyen desayuno y comida, el traslado en las minivan muy cómodo, durante el camino incluso puedes dormir un poco, tiene aire acondicionado incluso te dan mantas para la primera hora cuando te recogen.
En todo momento te informan de todo, la caminata un poco dura pero si vas con calma puedes hacerla sin problema y todo gracias a la ayuda de Rosendo, un guía encantador y experto. Si al final no puedes subir siempre hay caballos que te suben y te bajan.
Recomendamos hacerla los últimos días ya que así te aclimatas a la altura, llevar ropa de abrigo porque hace mucho aire y frío arriba.
