Intinerary
- Very early in the morning (04:30 a.m.) we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to make the trip to the village of Chirihuani in the Cusipata District (Quispicanchis) where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious semi-buffet breakfast,
- After a brief talk, we will board the minibus to continue the journey for 45 minutes to Phullapatawasi, the starting point of our hike at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, to the highest point of the Cerro Colorado,
- During this trip we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids;
- Arriving at Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of this enigmatic place.
- Afterwards, we will continue with our hike downhill and flat parts to the starting point of the hike (Phullapatawasi),
- Then we will board the minibus that will take us to Cusipata where we will have a delicious semi-buffet lunch,
- Finally we will return to Cusco. At around 17:00 hours, this is the end of the hike to the 7-color mountain.
- OPTIONAL: You have the option of renting a horse if you do not want to walk or feel tired, round trip 80 soles.

Hay que tener un poco de paciencia para poder ver la montaña sin niebla (en esta fecha) pero nos ha encantado. Sufrimos dolor de cabeza por el mal de altura pero siempre controlados de cerca por el guía, MUY RECOMENDADO….
La excursión es muy bonita, algo largo el trayecto pero nuestro guía Rosendo, a la vuelta, nos indicó un camino por donde no pasaba nadie y con unas vistas maravillosas. El mirador estaba lleno de gente y no pudimos verlo bien pero gracias al camino alternativo, pudimos verlo mejor.
Trekking exigente que requiere estar en buena condicion fisica. La actividad se llevo a cabo conforme al itinerario previsto. Destacar la profesionalidad, amabilidad y cercania del guía, en todo momento atento con el grupo y dispuesto a que la actividad fuera un exito.
El guía fue muy simpático y atento con todos. Fuimos un grupo de unas 15 personas y cada uno a su ritmo. Entregaron desayuno y comida buffet muy completitos y aunque tuvimos que madrugar, fuimos de los primeros en llegar y eso nos permitió disfrutar un poquito más de las vistas arriba.
La ruta fue muy bien, totalmente recomendada. Te envían información antes de ir de todo lo que necesitas y te recogen puntuales intentando llegar los primeros para evitar largas colas y aglomeraciones.
