Simón Bolivar’s House in Peru
Finally, another of Barranca’s tourist sites is the House of Simon Bolivar in Peru, in the district of Pativilca. In the past, the site was a large colonial beach house. Today, it has become a museum where the history and life of the liberator is exhibited. In addition, because of its cultural value, it is considered Cultural Heritage of Peru. Visiting days are Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The general entrance fee is S/. 3.50.
