Canoeing or rafting is a sporting and recreational activity that consists of traveling along the riverbed in the direction of the current (downstream).
  • The boat or raft is steered by a guide who stands at the back and the other team members stand at the sides to help the guide steer the raft.
  • Currently in Lunahuaná, canoeing is one of the most popular adventure sports and does not require a high degree of training to practice.
  • We have a highly trained staff and the ideal equipment for children, youth and adults to feel for the first time the thrill of this adventure sport on the Cañete River.

Time of Service:

  • 1:30 hour approx.
  • Includes transfer from the agency or hotel to the starting point, equipment set-up, technical talk, paddling drill, and the adventure on the river.

Restrictions:

  • Not recommended for pregnant women or people with heart problems.
  • Children from 5 years of age and/or with the express consent of their parents/guardian.
  • The service is subject to variation without prior notice, due to weather conditions (rain, floods, landslides, bad weather, etc.), strikes and/or demonstrations and any other event that does not allow the normal development of the itinerary.
  • The Itinerary may vary at the discretion of the operator, always to guarantee the safety of the traveler and the best development of the service in its entirety.

Adventure Sports Rafting in Lunahuana

  • The service starts at the Lunahuana plaza, or if the client prefers from their lodging, from there we will transfer them to the starting point of the canoeing, where we will proceed to place the corresponding equipment, which consists of life jackets (Class V), protective helmets (Protec, suitable for the practice of this sport) and we will deliver a paddle to each of the participants.
  • The instructor will then proceed to give a talk about the service, followed by a safety and paddling practice on land and then embark on an unforgettable adventure on the waters of the majestic Cañete River.
  • Optionally, a GOPRO camera will be installed on the helmet if video is required.
  • Once at the point of arrival, the equipment will be handed over to the indicated personnel and then we will transfer you to your lodging.
  • The video will be delivered for you to take the experience home.

Un buen punto para alejarse un poco de Lima, y disfrutar según prefieran de un poco de adrenalina o relax… con mi familia hicimos canotaje en el río Lunahuana, una experiencia alegre y relajante para mi, los rapidos no eran tan furiosos y el guía de canotaje muy bueno, hay varios cerca a la plaza del pueblo, no nos quedamos atrapados en las rocas como otros grupos y nadie se cayo del bote, todos terminamos con la ropa mojada, llevar una muda completa!..nosotros fuimos con la empres Condor Xtreme todo lo demás correcto. Además, la miel por esos lares trae una novedad, la miel de uva, adquieranla en Lunahuana…llevar repelente y bloqueador solar.

El valle del río Cañete está a poca distancia de Lima y se llega a el por medio de una óptima autopista que conduce hasta Cañete.
De allí se sigue el camino que bordea el río hasta Lunahuaná.
Imperdibles los platos a base de camarones y los licores artesanales macerados de nísperos.
Para los amantes de las aventuras hay buenos servicios para el canotaje en el río.
Se puede conseguir alojamiento aceptable desde campamento hasta el equivalente a 3*
Si no se utiliza automóvil propio, hay transporte público de calidad aceptable y precios razonables que sale de Lima.
Vale la pena quedarse todo un fin de semana.

ir a cañete y pasar a Lunahuana fue genial comí muy rico hice canotaje luego tome un rico vino, cabalgue en caballo y respire de un aire muy puro, creo q fue una experiencia muy grandiosa me gusto mucho les recomiendo visitar Lunahuna
